Dec 17rd: The new adult content ban goes into effect. Over a million users leave the website in exodus to find other websites.
Months pass.
Verizon starts to notice that they’ve lost TONS of profits from ad revenues on their website because so many users left.
More months pass.
The announcement happens.
TUMBLR PREMIUM
- Pay monthly for Tumblr for bonus perks!
- 10-picture per image set increased to 100 for Premium users!
- New post types! Galleries!
- New themes!
- New fonts!
- No more ads!
- No more size restrictions on image or audio or video posts!
- All for 10 bucks a month!
Months pass again.
Tumblr Premium is not as popular as they thought it would be.
